Built in the early years of the 19th century, the Courthouse is one of the last survivors in County Donegal of the old style in court building.

A bridewell contains six cells and two day rooms.

Lurgyvale Thatched Cottage is a 150 year old thatched cottage with an open hearth fire on a flagged floor. Scones and tea are served daily in an old kitchen.
