Considered one of the best inland courses with fair but tight fairways. Rarely closed due to water clogging. Many scenic views.

The course is rather unusual in modern days in that it has five short holes. This is well balanced by quite a few long par 4s. The holes from the 15th to 18th give one of the most demanding finishes on an inland course in Ireland....

The Course is parkland. It has large trees and some very deep bunkers. It has a stream winding its way through which comes into play on several holes. It is a stern test for even the lowest of handicaps....

Established 1895

Set in attractive parkland, the centrepiece is a beautiful lake some 25 acres in extent. This is stocked with trout and other sporting fish and comes very much into play on the back nine, which are reckoned to be more difficult that the front nine. Some of the holes have been compared with Augusta, where the greens are placed near the water's edge. Trees are also a feature and the setting is of great beauty.

Established 1890 The first five holes are parkland along the banks of the Margy and Carey rivers and bordering the ruins of a 12th-century friary. The Warren area is six holes of true links, and the inward seven are in adjacent upland with panoramic views inlcuding the Mull of Kintyre, Rathlin Island and Ballycastle Bay. The course demands accurate irons....

Established 1911 Parkland course, tree-lined. Features include winding river immediately in front of the 5th and 7th greens. Mature course with much additional tree planting taking place.
